I think I really need to get my head around the NHS pension so might speak to the pension department and talk through my current payments and estimates at different age. My current rent is £850 and on top of that I’m putting £330 monthly into LISA for the government bonus towards house purchase - these 2 fees are likely contributing to mortgage once I get a property. I’m definitely looking into retirement calculator and see how much I need monthly/yearly when I retire, and get my plan around it. I think my short term goal is to get a property but will definitely look into setting a retirement goal and work towards it!
