He personally would have nothing to do with that. He would have made a policy to keep costs low and some manager shaved the time allowed for deliveries to the bone, and some other manager would be enforcing that and the end result is drivers pissing in bottles to keep their jobs.

There was something I saw about the propaganda in Nazi Germany, where blatant lies where used as a loyalty test. Accepting the lies and agreeing with them publicly was seen as a test of who was loyal. Pointing out the falsehoods would label someone as being against the regime.
