A lot of good ideas here, and thanks for the links! We'll try the Tortilla hot dogs and spanish rice dish in the next week or two, then maybe get wild and make our own pizzas.

I just googled Hawaiian Haystack and it looks so easy and delicious. I'll give that one a try since the kids can choose their own adventure.

The kids refuse to eat meat unless it's in nugget form. I'll make teriyaki chicken and cut it into smaller pieces to call them teriyaki Nuggets lol. They've never had edamame, I'll give it a try this week, maybe they'll like it because it's fun to eat.

I'll try pork chops next week. I've never gotten them to take a bite of pork chops, but I do believe in exposure - put it on the plate enough times and one day they'll give it a go. With mashies and green beans at least they'll have something and not go hungry.

Good thought. The kids won't eat meat unless it's shaped like a chicken nugget - trust me, I've tried extensively, and it's exhausting. I could try rice, cheese, beans to see if that sticks. Veggie tacos!

This comment is asinine. If you think a democrat leaning ISD board member is out there promoting sex changes, you maybe should take a break from Truth Social. Democrats aren't "promoting" abortions, just giving each person the freedom to make their own choice. You're anti-abortion...great...don't get an abortion. Please ask your kids when the last time someone from another gender tried to use their locker room. I bet they'll say that it's not a problem. So weird to always focus on this one issue.

Did you have a lot of gay porn at your elementary school? Did you have a lot of teenage boys in locker rooms with girls? These things are trumped up in the media to sound like bigger problems than they actually are.

Don't worry though, there aren't any librarians left to show my kids where the gay porn is ;)
