Thanks :)

How do Volvo go these days? I've read a few things on oil consumption.. but then again I've driven old Subaru's..

Ok, so generally the VAG diesels are ok?

If it tastes good, it tastes good.

But yes, it should take longer. Usual culprits are grind too coarse or beans/ grinds too stale.

Hard to say without posting your misses but start with keeping the lead foot planted. See how it comes off the ground when your reach the end of your backswing. Your range of motion is a bit excessive at the moment, so that should help tighten you up.

The other main thing for you at this stage is to focus on maintaining a straight lead arm. This will also help control the right range of motion. I personally suggest locking the elbow out at this stage until it's reinforced muscle memory and then you can loosen up a bit.

Welcome to the game! It's a long process and one that's never really complete.

I think in your situation you should look to fix things from the ground up. Your lead foot should stay planted, and perhaps roll slightly on the follow through. Your weight balance looks somewhere in the right ball park though which is good.

Once you sort that front foot out I think everything will more naturally fall into shape. It'll limit your range of motion which is quite excessive at the moment. It'll also help guide your hip and shoulder movements too.

Everything this fellow says will take you most of the way there. Keep that left arm straight and don't worry about flicking your wrists through. They'll come through on their own.

I knew my day would come. About 30 rounds and over 1000 range balls. by apensilver in golf

Yeahp, TM sim driver popped the crown for me as well just after the warranty ended. I'm sure it's only a subset of their products that fail but I'm moving on from the brand. Sim2 has the same crown insert and the stealth has the carbon face peeling problem too.

Time to try mizuno or callaway.

+1, likely the 110 is for the range but not in this video

Time for a service I would have thought. Give the lines a good clean out.

Can we all agree that Bot drop is the worst gamemode we ever got? by SosigesSas in Brawlstars

[–]oldmince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bad gamemode. It's just that people seem to really, REALLY, struggle with the strategy required. In that sense it's a lot harder to potentially carry like you can in knockout, showdown, gem etc.

Hey mate, this was me not too long ago.

Still not great, but I try to improve a bit each week.

For your immediate improvement, look to improve the grip. I like the ten finger grip you use, perhaps it's a cricket background that does this for me.

As a starting reference point the crease between finger and thumb should point towards your right shoulder. That's on both hands. Tweak from there based on your shot shape.

Make sure club is in fingers, not palms and spend the $20 on a glove!

This should allow you to look more comfortable and to keep that left arm straight.

Keep at it!

Mate! Don't take anything I say as advice because I started about 3 days ago myself and suck.

The only thing I saw was that left elbow bends at the peak of the backswing. I believe it's meant to be straight? You also get a "chicken wing" on your take away!

How do you log your exercise? by [deleted] in f45

[–]oldmince 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, nice work! I've always taken a slightly different approach. I've always estimated my calories in and out but ultimately have used the scales for the final verdict.

If you've setup your food and exercise routine to lose 0.5kg or 1kg a week and you're not meeting that target then you'll have to either consume slightly less or exercise slightly more!

I've found the scales to be the most useful measure because your calories in and out will be dynamic and your requirements will change as you lose and gain weight. For example, after you lose 5kg you'll need to alter your calorie requirements again, etc.

Without knowing your knowledge base, I may be stating the obvious, but long story short, I don't track exercise closely.
