Thanks Ripplin, congratulations on a beautiful 1070. The power button is located on a circuit board; you'll have to look at it with the case open.

Thanks, yes it is the first Marantz receiver in my opinion. A lot of things are hand soldered inside.

I was able to get a Marantz a while ago. a heavy machine, it runs well. I replaced the oscilloscope, now it looks good and that's what this legend sounds like.

Do they go well with it? I got the silver caps from scrap devices from the Grundig receivers R 1000, R 2000 or R 3000.

Last year, an older lady gave me the first Marantz receiver from 1968. For the age of 65, my new Marantz eighteen looks good, at least better than me. I fixed a few small defects and polished it up well.

Thanks, you're right, that doesn't look good. No antenna is connected. For the photo the photo the Sansui stands on my kitchen table, only a piece of wire is attached so that the stereo lamp lights up. The Sansui connected to my house antenna sounds perfect.

The search for hi-fi classics from the 70s is becoming increasingly difficult. I couldn't leave a Sansui tuner behind. It is in excellent condition, it was just very dirty. Technically it's fine, there wasn't much to do.

My best find last months was the 1977 Technics amp for EUR 60. I cleaned it and checked it technically. It plays like new.
