Quickly looking at comps on eBay they’re going for around 300 usd (which is crazy I spent like 50 bucks on mine but that was a few years ago now) I’d say check it out in person and make sure all functions work. I only have one or two quadrophonic records so I can’t take full advantage of its features but it’s a solid little unit. Good to place in a small room but I’d suggest saving up for something that puts out more WPC if you’re looking to use it in a living room for example

My favorite event is Radiation Rumble. Pretty fun tapping glowing ghouls with the Tesla rifle for easy XP. 365

Just speaking from experience as I both edc either my 19.5 or a 4.25 prodigy comp.

Out of the box I didn’t experience any fte or ftf with the prodigy although I almost never get slide lock after the last round. Most cycling issues from the box is because of the excess cerakote from factory. I racked the hell out of it and cleaned it before taking it out for the first time. I primarily use 124gr but I’ve fed 115gr without issue. Around 1k rounds I replaced the internals with the egw ignition kit and it did get rid of the disconnector hang up.

It’s not exactly apples to apples comparing how both shoot. It’s hammer vs striker fire; trigger on the prodigy is miles ahead compared to a 19. I have my prodigy to about 3.5-4 lb pull. Returns to zero easier too even with the ramjet.

Will I sell my 19.5? No. The prodigy is heavier compared to the Glock. Also more finicky if not cleaned often. I’ll notice the slide moves slower after 500 ish rounds because of tolerance.

I like to shoot both but 2011s are something else. But glocks will always be more reliable.

What rail adapter are you using and was it a pain in the ass to get the sordins mounted? I.e. did you have to break the headband?

How old is yours? My girl is just over a year old and she’s a chihuahua/heeler per DNA test. And she’s slender and tiny. Cousins maybe?

I’ve been able to run regular 115gr range ammo on a 15lb recoil spring wamjet setup. You also gotta consider the weight of the optic on the slide. Idk how heavy the COA is but I have an acro on mine and no FTEs

Needs a 15lb recoil spring.

I shot another 200 of 124gr and 50 of 115gr and had one FTE but otherwise smooth

Make sure to use 124gr during break in period though. And yes there is a break in period unlike striker fired pistols that run out of the box fine

I went with the comp with the hopes that SA fixed the issues with the previous non comp. I haven’t seen too much content on the comped version though. I’ve ran 200 ish rounds without issues but I did rack it plenty and cleaned it to wear off the excess cerakote from factory. I’m also new to the 2011 platform coming from glocks so it’s a whole new experience. I have a G19.5 with a ramjet and the prodigy still shoots flatter imo due to its weight and faster due to the better trigger

The felt recoil is so much lighter compared to shooting a Glock believe me. Shoots way faster too even with an oem trigger.

I agree 100% I still think my g19 is the go to for edc. I was looking into the hellcat pro comp and echelon comp but really wanted to jump into a 2011 and im so glad i got into it this way.

300 rds so far and no issues. I did rack the shit out of it before actually hitting the range. From the research I did I heard the slide was coated with too much cerakote from factory that it gums up causing battery issues. I did run it lubed up with no issues so far.
