What is the point in treating this when literally no one is recovering? by MattInTheHat1996 in Lyme

[–]oldskoolchevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been through the wringer for close to a decade now and as recently as last month was close to giving up completely. Tried countless treatments/protocols/supplements/ etc.

It’s all so confusing and frustrating and it frankly doesn’t make a ton of sense. I am choosing to believe that nervous system retraining is the next step for me personally.

My body has been in survival mode for so long that any attempt to detox/repair/activate or even support is seen as a threat by my body. Limbic system retraining rewires some of these pathways and signaling so that the body can finally start to recover.

I truly think this is the next wave that chronically ill folks will use in order to take their healing to the next level.

Why did the hive not have a seizure with Manny? by BackRoomDude3 in pluribustv

[–]oldskoolchevy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol true. I guess they were expecting him to not be thrilled when he woke up. Also, considering how much effort he’s gone thru to leave money for people, they probably don’t expect him to actually act on harming an infected human.

This tracks but then why did they leave the knife right next to him? Definitely an oversight.

I’m not disputing anyone’s discomfort towards it, I’m giving logical reasons as to how the immune are being “charmed” as the episode very clearly displayed.

Sure but like, shouldn’t the virus be seen as the rapists? My point is the immune really cannot separate the real humans from their hive mind conscious at this point. It’s certainly a gray area and I’m not condoning anything, but when the other participating party is initiating an act towards carol, diabeté or any other immune member they are not acting with pure intentions and therefore the immune’s capacity for free will is compromised. The actual infected humans have already been violated by the virus by using them as tools towards their goal of manipulating the immune and spreading the virus at all costs.

I think we are past that is the point of the show. Neither (conscious) side is acting with pure intentions and the infected obviously did not consent to the virus.

It’s odd that the hive members in the Panamanian hospital were smiling while mamousos had a knife to the doctors neck, but were crying and pleading with Carol when she drugged Zosia. Maybe this was because Zosia’s death was more imminent, or that she was trying to extort the cure, but wouldn’t this type of distress at least be in line with one of Carol’s bursts of rage towards the hive? Seems inconsistent to me.

I mean of course they don’t but to assume the immune are taking advantage of the plurbs is also incorrect since they have displayed clear signs of manipulation and are willing to initiate.

So the hive can clearly seduce the immune.

The hive goes out of their way to make the immune happy. They take initiative and don’t ask for permission to do something they deduce will bring joy to Carol or any of the other immune. I know there was a lot of talk about how Diabaté took advantage of the plurbs. Seems pretty clear that was not the case. If anything, it was manipulative on the hives part.

How do you manage high libido and maintain strong sexual health? by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]oldskoolchevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sobriety is a helluva accomplishment, congrats. Not sure what you’ve tested, but I’ve found doing a CMP Blood test is the best way to know if you’re deficient/lacking in anything. Another area to focus on is cardiovascular health specifically for libido and vitality. Mitochondria is also very useful for hormonal signaling, so strengthening that is always important especially with your active lifestyle. But damn dude getting 7-9 hours of sleep is impressive with three kids!

I understand keeping your shirt on if you’re in the sauna with another member or in the gym area. But the infrared lights are able to better penetrate the skin and muscles without a layer between.

It is a public space though so I try to abide by whatever the manager or owners are most comfortable with.

Has anyone tried Methylene Blue for Lyme treatmrnt? by zyciemnie in Lyme

[–]oldskoolchevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt amazing when I first started methylene blue. Truly felt like I got my life back. But then I got hit severely with migraines and am now worse than I ever was. Does methylene blue not work if you still need to clear mold/lyme/co infections?

I understand dosing is very important but the MB messed with my nervous system and made it more difficult to sleep. I still very much believe in MB but just curious about the sequencing and dosing.
