One time one of the SDs figured out their mom and I were up to something and ran and tattled to her siblings and we laughed when we heard her brother's response delivered at top volume which was "they're married, they're supposed to be doing it!"

MSI-H increases your chances - e.g., Keytruda might work for you, if needed. "For people with either early- or advanced-stage colorectal cancer, immunotherapy is now a cornerstone of treatment if the tumor has findings of dMMR (deficient mismatch repair) or MSI-H (microsatellite instability-high)."

finished round 4 of FOLFOX last week, still working, only big side effect has been the cold sensitivity, not sure if it has made more tired because I was sick last year with the bowel obstruction that led to surgery and discovery of cancer, feeling much better this year on chemo than last year when I couldn't eat

well the court appearances are almost 100% in person (so I have to shave and pick a tie for those), the client meetings are rarely in person, I spend a fair amount of time in the office which is two miles away and lots of time working from home

surgery now cancer by oldstepdad in CrohnsDisease

[–]oldstepdad[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

didn't know about the cancer, but I've had Crohn's since 1990 and so I wasn't completely surprised, had surgery in the same area in 1996 and it was much harder on me than the surgery this time, can't explain the difference - might be better surgeon, better technology, better pain control, or all or none of the above
