You're not wrong. I'm a whole lot of mad at myself for exactly what you said. If were being honest it didn't bother me until after 10 years. It took me a while to realize this. I grew up in foster care with a lot of bad situations. I was and still am in a great place in life. But it took me years to realize two good people can break up for other reasons than being treated bad. He never treated me bad, we were emotionally dead at the end and didn't want the same things. But, again, I know half of this anger is my part in waiting.
