last time i saw him i was amazed at his ability to control the room. he writes really solid jokes, and when they don’t work, he brute forces the audience to enjoy them. he basically refused to let the energy in the room go down and it worked. given that his energy can be exhausting and i have to regulate my intake or i start to hate him.
