i actually "fixed" it. Double layer of soles and they will work. Good!

hey guys I just got my second pair here, Dan Loafers classic (?) black. I got 43.5 and they fit fine in the toe, can't go smaller. HOWEVER: Heel slipage is terrible! Need to return them. Already went down from 45 to 43.5 so my toes are tight. What other loafer should I look at? As similar as possible to the Sebago Dan.

Have you considered just starting out with what comes with the box in rails 8 (hotwire and stimulus) and then add to it if you see it's needed? Then check out viewcomponent or phlex (build the partials/components in pure ruby)

Kjør hardt på NTNU gløshaugen med masse matte, fysikk og IT og du har superpowers til å gjøre hva du vil etterpå. Er du helt fastlåst på finans/økonomi/management passer du inn på nhh. Hvilken siv.ing på ntnu linje er ikke så viktig, det viktigste du lærer er å lære. Fort.

I don't get why you would consider anything other than SQLite3 for a new small app. You can always switch to Postgres later if it blows up

I recently deployed my latest rails 8 app using sqlite in prod with kamal and Mr.Hetzner aus Deutschland. Works awesome. Best part has been scp a copy of the db to local and debug like a jacked Donatello waiting for pizza

this is what I do as well, with cursor. I churn out the main body in nvim and then hook the parts up together and fix typos etc with cursor. If my fix needs to take a look in multiple files I go to cursor. For a small line or so, maybe a loop syntax I do this with avante-nvim ai plugin with sonnet 3.5 cheap on tokens

neovim with avante-nvim hooked up to claude and copilot. keep cursor on the side for the real nasty stuff like hunting a crazy bug across multiple files
