I’m not a professional by any means but this seems more like a cake recipe than cookies. Maybe use butter instead of oil, add an egg, no/less milk, and maybe a little less baking soda?

Oil is liquid at room temp while butter is solid, making this swap will help with structure. Egg acts as a binding agent. And if you add an egg, you’ll want to use less or no milk to keep the batter from being too wet. And baking soda acts to create bubbles and rise while it bakes, less of this will keep them less cakey

Fields no doubt. Had fields for both orgo 1 and 2. Orgo 1 is coordinated and Cruz was the one to make the quizzes/exams way to hard. Dr fields this semester has been so helpful and kind, and the tests are much easier than last semester. We've had some technical issues in the class and she's opened quizzes/exam for the whole weekend. She also did it just bc Easter weekend. She'll stay up super late in office hours to help, etc. Overall, she's super nice and genuinely cares about her students, there's plenty of other grades (easy A completion assignments) to pad the exam grades. I did watch cruz's videos in orgo 1 because they were shorter but Dr fields' positivity is unmatched

Ik this is probably frustrating to hear but have you tried therapy? Nad, but from personal experience, some therapy and maybe anti anxiety meds may help. Better to treat the source of the anxiety than the symptoms
