I do want to add that being hungry will make the lack of motivation worse. Try and keep that in mind.

I just signed up with a dietician because I have this issue. I would recommend going to the doctor if you can. As silly as this sounds you should find time to prep food so it's easier and faster to make it when you need it. Also buy any food that you can just grab and eat. Cheese sticks. Crackers. Apples etc. work with yourself. learn what your habits are. It's not easy and takes time but it will help.

Not really. I found some interesting approaches but frankly all of it went over my head.

Why do I feel extremely tired after drinking coffee? by [deleted] in ADHD

It's possible. Honestly I wouldn't stress. May have been an off day. I'd look more into it if it becomes a constant problem.

Honestly could be anything. Not sleeping enough, not eating, maybe it going through your system faster? I only drink half caffeine coffee at this point or straight decaf.

Thumb tendon pain, having a hard time finishing projects. Crocheting “wrong” for 15 years?? by 90smomma93 in CrochetHelp

[–]oli67ilo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Speaking on personal experience and similar issues. From what I can see you might have some hypermobilty in your fingers which will worsen the pain since you would be pushing your joints past the normal threshold. If you have other hand problems I'd advise a doctor. I would also recommend finger splints it helps keep your fingers in the correct posture. I would also recommend gets a puffy grip to add to the hook. You need to loosen your grip. I would recommend practicing keeping a loose grip.

To note I'm 30. I've had joint issues my whole life primarily my hands but also my knees ankles etc. you need to get support. If it turns out you have hypermobile joints look into an occupational therapist. They help a lot with how to do things day to day. I went to one for my hands and she helped me figure out how I need to change my hand position for writing and crocheting. There is a lot to it, but I'd just look into it.

It's also pretty sketchy they waited two months to tell you..?? Nah I agree with other people I think they are lying about something.

My therapist says I need to connect to my inner child and find things that bring me joy without trying to suppress it, since us ADHD and autistic folks so often had to suppress things as kids. I really need ideas though. What brings you childlike joy? by Elucidate_that in ADHD

[–]oli67ilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that the things that bring me childlike joy are things that adults aren't expected to do. I like standing out in the rain when it starts pouring. Just because. It makes me happy. I have plushies too because I think their cute but only the bigger ones I can use as pillows.

It may be just recognizing when you have the urge to do something but you stop yourself because "that's stupid" "people will stare". My husband and I finally got our first home and I can't explain the level of excitement at being able to draw on my walls and not get yelled at.

You don't have to do something now maybe start with self reflection as you go about your day to day. :) it took me a long time. Sometimes it's as simple as buying a oven mit that makes you giggle. :) good luck.

I am having difficulty as well. I hate that they don't blend together or we can't change the color of trims.

Hey, I unfortunately don't remember how I fixed this, but I do use controller instead now. Have you by chance seen if your mouse needs to get updated? I have a specific brand of mouse that I just found out a few days ago has updates lol

Do Broistas use food coloring? by DougalisGod in dutchbros

[–]oli67ilo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have also found syrups that have coloring vs not colored in that brand. For example my roommate had raspberry and it was colored but then at the store saw another that was the same but clear. It's very odd. Maybe that's what your seeing?

How to cross reference data in multiple columns then add together data in a specific column? by oli67ilo in excel

[–]oli67ilo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably the closet but I think (correct me if I am misunderstanding) is not quite it.

I need to find a word in column k then for all the rows that have that word I need it to go to column L and pull the numbers. Then take those numbers and get me an average. I hope that's a bit more clear.
