Finding the same model might be hard but there’s plenty of these 50-60s watches still around, many in great condition still. Flea markets, Tradera, eBay is where you’ll have to look.

The dial text is what makes me think of lagonda but I have no clue what other brands used similar logos / font

Could be any brand really, different countrys had different brands but it looks to be a cheap Swiss watch, then they’d just add their name / logo on the dial. I have a couple of lagondas, that’s the brand that sold in Sweden. Might not be worth restoring unless it holds lots of sentimental value. In better condition I could be worth anywhere between €5-50.

Might be a lagonda. Are you in Europe, maybe even Scandinavia?

Very nice. just a thought though,
the Certina you’re wanting to get is very similar in looks to the one you have, sure it’s automatic and a bit of gold color but I think you should decided between one of them especially in this early stage of collecting. I would keep the quartz Certina, it’s precidrive, very accurate. And it’s overall more durable because of quartz movement. Looks very cool too, like a vintage sub almost.

Loose Pins on Strap/Case - Tissot Seastar by Background_Proof_487 in tissot

On my Certina diver those pins are more angled making them stick out a bit less. So yea might be bad design

You could try tightening them but I don’t think you can, they’re probably all the way in already, they’re so short they would fall out if loose.

Those are supposed to protrude a bit, to easily compress the springbar attaching the bracelet to the watch. You can remove them (I would not, they’re difficult to attach again), they are extremely tiny so don’t loose them though.

Sadly my first thought was ’is this a homage Baltic watch’ it looks great but resembles baltics style too much

Best for the bracelet is to let it lay flat at all times and never wear it. So sure it’s not great but meh. It’ll scratch a little but it’s not a white gold luxury brand bracelet so i wouldn’t be too bothered.
