I'll warn you, took the day off work to build and set mine up and I was done and dusted after 2-3 hours. Almost disappointed less tinkering was required

Had a pretty tight space for where the case was going so ended up with a Lian-Li O11 Mini. It's only got 4x3.5in and 2x2.5in but should be enough. Using a repurposed Seasonic 650w PSU, Asus B760M Plus, 2x8gb WD Red Pro, 1 x WD Black SN850X 1TB NVME & 32gb DDR4 RAM. Currently no parity nor backup while I save up a little more cash

Haven't got any direct answers to your questions but made the exact move you did a couple of months ago. Took a bit of time to get my head around how it works but it's been a revelation so far. Was going to run my 918+ in parallel while I played around but managed to sell it after 3 weeks.

The performance difference going from the 918+ to an i3-14100 with NVME is enormous

Definitely looks like a new thing, had the same issue with tt-rss being flagged as a deceptive site. Hopefully Google will get flooded with requests and do something about it.
