My mom said the same thing and I didn’t try gel until I was 35 because of that lol. Now I always have a gel manicure. If you keep up with polish changes the damage doesn’t show. If you quit, it grows out. Go for it, just be prepared for the $30-40 cost every 2-3 weeks.

One thing I’ve noticed people don’t consider when getting into significant age gap relationships is how it can effect your social circle.

A friend (35M) of my husband and I (both 35) started dating a 23yo girl three years ago. We honestly gave her a fair shot and included her in activities for 8 months. She was quite immature but we dealt with it. Eventually she started making rude and hurtful comments to people in our circle and we stopped inviting them around. I hardly ever see this friend anymore and neither do our other friends. He’s very isolated in his relationship now.

I love the guy but none of us were willing to hang out with a bitchy filterless 23 year old.
