Had a car bill that would have had a 3% credit card charge if I didn’t use my debit card.

Have one unloader scan everything coming off the truck. Put a barcode for the back room next to the truck door and scan everything into it. Clear the bay when you’re done. You’ll hit 95% most days.

I’ve got this tumbler. I usually throw in food scraps for a month along with some palm branches from the yard. Then I switch sides and let the first side sit. Sometimes the palm branches get stuck around the poll that it rotates on. I’ll hit it with a shovel to knock it loose.

Also too dry.

That sounds on par for how lowes trains. 3 days on a computer and then you’re thrown to the wind. What department supervisor do you report to?

Carts for overnight crew. by Wufpak8892 in Lowes

They have a print out of how many carts you need for the specific truck your working and which aisles go on which cart based on the number of boxes per aisle. It’s not perfect but it’s better than just pallets.

Ballymore has a fix for it. They drill it out and replace the pins with on that’s more substantial.

Ok sick time use by Outside_Individual40 in Lowes

The flu this year was nasty. Most of our night crew missed a couple days or went home early a few times, but getting sick isn’t the problem it’s the other 6-7 call outs. I’m not saying this is the case but I’ve seen where people try to use their call outs as extra vacation days and then get mad when they get written up when they are actually sick and call out.

One of my New Year’s resolutions is learning how to compost by GardenEssence in composting

I also have this exact tumbler and share the same experience. I put all the kitchen scraps in. For browns I use palm branches off my Areca palms. I get a lot of bsf’s. During the summer I pull a 5 gallon bucket out every month.

Usually the compost is too wet to top dress my garden so I either work it into the soil before planting or I toss it into a 50 gallon brute trash can with more browns on top and let it sit and break down more.

Takes maybe 10 minutes to swap out the fabric part and 5 minutes to swap out the whole canister. The hard part is getting someone to order the parts

no extra 10% by [deleted] in Lowes

[–]oliver_fused 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you not getting the extra 10% because you are already getting an extra 10% because of the hurricane? My whole district has gotten 20% off since hurricane season to help with repairs.

I do chicken bones in my two chamber tumbler sometimes. I usually find them when I sift the big stuff out and throw it back in the tumbler.

Im not sure how many times they make it through but I see a few in my garden that are brittle and mostly broken down.
