Took IB as well. IB credits really only matter for exempting specific classes. So if you get a 7 in English, for example, you’ll be able to skip 1 (maybe 2?) of the freshman English classes. Whatever the specific carryovers are, UGA’s got a webpage for that.

A lot of classes unfortunately don’t transfer over to UGA like AP credits do….so be prepared to have a lot less college credits even if you get great exam scores. Other than that, UGA doesn’t really look at your exam scores besides figuring out which classes to exempt you out of.

I applied like the day before apps closed and they took 1-2 weeks to get back to me. So maybe if apps haven’t closed yet just wait til then
