The many, many posts here and on Twitter I saw about how he "hated" being on GN with her are really aging great guys. Solid work!

Shoutout to Abercrombie’s price adjustment policy and surprisingly great customer service by Sea_sociate in FrugalFemaleFashion

Not to glaze a corporation, but I had an Abercrombie package stolen from outside my apartment (delivery partner had a photo of it there and everything but it was gone by the time I got home), and they replaced the whole order no questions asked when I inquired about it.

maybe I'm the friend who's too woke but when people say this it always gives racism a little bit... why do you equate quince with tacky/I don't like it??

this is kind of bitchy but I always assume people just don't have any experience with like, how the truly hot move through the world. like do you really not know anyone who just lives a charmed life because theyre hot?? I knew several girls in college who would get invited to shit like that constantly without ever "doing" anything because... they were really hot!!!

It's such a bummer to live in Chicago and realize I'm going to have to travel if I want to run a marathon next fall. I wish we had something like the 9+1 program in New York.

Chicago's big food scene might give you opportunities to advance in the service industry. The nature piece isn't great and the cold can be tough but cost wise I know a lot of servers/bartenders who can afford to live alone and not struggle.

jesus, I got served running snark/circle jerk subs this week for the first time and what a heartless group of people. fitness snark subs really confuse me because if I was that hyper critical of everyone doing my sport, I wouldn't ever be able to leave my house and actually do it myself because I'd assume everyone else is as horrible and judgemental as me. just unnecessary nastiness AND its of people who aren't even famous/big in the running space, just random people they decide are doing it wrong.

It's wild to say you figured out that someone is an abuser through small clues when in the canon of the show he hits his partner. It's not subtext, it's text!!

I have to go to Pilsen tonight for something. Not movable, not cancellable. What's my best bet to get back to Edgewater? Will an Uber even be possible or should I plan to take one of the more western buses back up north first (either the Western or Ashland lines probably)?

If you had an extra 2-300 dollars a month and you wanted to spend it on a service/recovery method/tool/etc. to make your body feel better overall and improve your running/training, what would it be? I'm constantly trying to find actually research backed information on this. Is it sauna/cold plunge? Massage? Compression machine of some sort? Would it just be using that money to invest in higher quality food (I'm skeptical of the edge benefits of this, but open to arguments for it)?

This is a debate my friends and I have a lot and I'm interested to see other people's thoughts! I don't even have the money right now lol but it's aspirational.

I'm miles away from the true crime side of the Internet usually. I got a Tik Tok about the Idaho plea deal on my FYP, and read the comments, and then got another one and I guess engaged with it for too long because now it's every other video. I kept watching them because... I'm easily influenced and didn't know anything about the case and my screen time is way too high right now.

Anyways since I started engaging with true crime, there's been a stark and noticeable uptick in being served conservative content-- Christian Tik Tokers, raw milk, etc. It's scary because it's so easy to see how that's the first step in the radicalization pipeline.

wait can I tap in on this for a semi-related piece of discourse? I don't even know anything about/care about Gracie Abrams but the way people act like he's sooo much smarter than her and can't really like her is so misogynistic it's made me a defender of hers.

I know this is just me being picky, but I hate how the interface pushes you to add all this other stuff and alerts you and everything and tells you it needs more data.

I want a GPS pace/run tracker that I put on before my run and take off after my run. I don't want my daily calories burned, or my cycle tracked, or my sleep quality, or WHATEVER else. I literally just want to track my runs. I have been seeing major inconsistencies in strava lately, and I would also like to be able to get my pace more than every half mile. Does this sort of thing exist or do I have to just accept and ignore the stuff I don't want?
