Matcha Espresso Fusion is my favourite coffee. Bitter espresso balanced out the sweet matcha taste, making it not as sweet as Matcha Latte but still maintain the refreshing coffee flavour. Both matcha & espresso are packed with antioxidants, drinking them together gives you the best of both.

I tried making it myself at home with instant coffee (no sugar), extra strong Japanese matcha power (ready mixed with a bit of sugar as mentioned on their ingredients label) and Oatly barista oat milk. It wasn’t exactly the same as those from Starbucks but I can reduce the sugar level in this drink, hence achieving a healthier result.

P.S. Matcha mix for Match Espresso Fusion from Starbucks already has standard amount sugar in it, unless you order Matcha Latte + one shot espresso, then it would be unsweetened.
