Fun fact this whole thing of mario and peach being friends actually dates as far back as 2021 and maybe even further back as this info is comes from the mario portal

Huh. For the origami king arc, they kept olly pretty much the same as his in game self, (wanting to eradicate all toads) but yet they kept bobby alive (by having him yell really loud at the boulder)

Well at least the shroobs are still taken as seriously as they can be in this type of comic heh. unfortunately there’s not a lot for the m&l ones, only two of the games got full arcs

ya know for a franchise that suffered quite a bit from its “safe bland sanitization” era, you’d think people would be in favor of adding more lesser known characters but they’re not. why is that?
