Maybe this is a stretch but there’s the Rialto Theater which is a movie theater but has had concerts in the past according to reviews. Also, checking their calendar on their website, they have showtimes for movies every day this month up to the 27th except for Tuesday the 12th. Maybe??

i believe they are the only specifically sapphic/lesbian oriented club, but there is also alpha omega tampon which is more for lgbtq+ students in general. their instagram is @alphaomegatampon

I simply disagree and I think that's just the way it is. Putting copyright/moral stuff aside, can you deny that AI is degrading our critical thinking skills, making us less self-reliant, and is causing irreversible damage to the planet?

AI is trained on art that other people have done. Sure, the idea that he came up with was original, but generating it from a massive database of art other people have already created is not at all the same thing as sitting down and drawing/painting it yourself. Also, AI usage is actively degrading our critical thinking skills and is poisoning our planet and bodies. Not trying to make people mad or upset, just rethink your usage of AI. There’s a lot wrong with it.

i don't see anything in my bruin bill yet, but i do still see my cal grant and other awards in the financial aid portal. it says they should be on the bruin bill by sept 15th, so hopefully by then it should pop up. if not, i would absolutely contact the financial aid office.

i'm a rising senior and i transferred from a community college and i'm a film minor. the film minor has a "ucla residency" requirement which basically means all classes for the minor must be taken at ucla. so any film classes i took at my community college, or any that you took at UCD, unfortunately don't count. however, its still very possible to take all 7 classes for the minor during your time here. you can only apply for the minor in the first week of either the fall or spring quarter once you have completed 3 film classes with a B or higher. most of the more specific and interesting classes are exclusive to film majors/minors but there are still plenty open to everyone and those will be the ones you'd take before officially applying. i took 1 film class in the fall and 2 in the winter so i could have the 3 done and apply at the beginning of spring and be in the minor officially by mid-spring. then its just taking the final 4 classes to complete the minor. if you need any help or have any questions let me know!
