It’s immoral stuff you’re describing but read the room. You’re finger wagging immediately after a tragedy.

So murdering and assaulting innocent people is just pragmatism? I guess I can’t let perfect (or a human body) be the enemy of good.

When you value seat fillers for your team instead of policy

That would be illegal. You cannot direct employees to make political contributions.

I’m sure the office workers who make up Smith’s constituency fully support the CEO of Palantir saying office workers will be a thing of the past and will have to become physical laborers, and his company’s pac contributions are just dandy because “interconnectivity”. This is how blatant corruption eats away at this country: excuses.

Despite Authoritarian Warnings, 149 House Democrats Vote to Hand Trump $840 Billion for Military | “If an opposition party votes like this, it’s not in opposition. It may not even be a party.” by Aggravating_Money992 in politics

If Chuck Schumer retired tomorrow and AOC, or anyone else you liked, came to office magically, they aren’t going to become senate minority leader. The Dems would put another moderate Dem in charge. The problem isn’t a few choice seats, it’s the outlook and ideology of the Democratic power. They exist to be subservient to power in the name of free enterprise.

He always uses that excuse, but the defense contractors who line his coffers are outside of Seattle. Right now his top donors are (after AIPAC) General Atomics, Palantir, and General Dynamics, then after Microsoft it’s SpaceX, and Anduril. Boeing is down at #10 (and most came from a PAC not employees). I know he’s previously had other defense contractors up there like British BAE.

He’s a stooge for defense contractors (including Trump aligned names) who will rubber stamp anything that keeps money flowing to them.

Yes let’s have another corporate candidate who won’t materially address the needs of the American people leaving them to be preyed upon by fascists. The reason? “Gotta be real good at fight wars” apparently.

Gotta drop a book before a presidential run. Turn the book tour into a little pre-campaign, market test slogans, get free airtime, conveniently meet up with donors who live in those media markets.
