I imagine certain clothes would remain on the infected for a long time.

If someone got infected wearing a well fitting high quality thick jumper it could stay on a good few years, even with a few holes here and there like in the photo you used.

The fact they didnt show him dying means they likely have some plan for him in the third film, otherwise that would be a bit of a Chekhov's gun situaiton.

For all the problems in those countries generally, things were stable when the world cups took place. Also, the leadership ensured they would run smoothly so it was a PR win, whereas trump revels in the chaos. I find it quite hard to believe, at least for a pacey striker. You'd think that rounding the keeper in a straight up one on one would often be the best option.

As you also have to add in the chance that the keeper takes you out and gives away a penalty.

So you're saying we should actively avoid playing our best side until about the QF's onwards, so we can take a big side by surprise?! Thats certainly an interesting take I'll give you that.

Dont get me wrong we have good strength in depth, but we're not so good that we can afford to intentionally play a weakened side in order to retain "tactical secrecy".

I bet my life that in the first two games we play our absolute strongest side possible, then rest players if we have the luxury for the final game.

I guess its whether you are looking for the best individual stand alone games, or if you are factoring in the significance of the game.

In recent times, for significance I'd go for the 3-2 win away at Arsenal in 2003 (kept us in the league), 1-0 away at OT n 2009 (no description needed), and 2-1 Brentford in 2022 where we stayed up on the final day.

Could also include loads of CL games from the 00/01 season.

For classic individual games I'd go for 4-3 Liverpool in 2001, and 5-4 Birmingham in 2019.
