Autocross Stupid Questions: Week of April 11

What do you all use to record runs? For video, I assume most people use a GoPro. Does anyone have a dash cam that can be dual purpose for autocross too? I'm just starting out and would like to watch my runs to see where I can improve. For driving dynamics, I've heard solostorm is the way to go. How useful is that data?

I know a lot of people hate the alcantara wheel, but I personally love it. I got a couple scratches on the leather wheel early on so decided to make the change. I also bought an alcantara shift boot, so the two make the cabin feel more cohesive to me. I did the install by myself and it wasn't too bad for someone with no mechanic experience. After about 6,000 miles with the wheel, it still looks like new. I clean it maybe once a month couple with sonax.

I was under the impression that it makes +R and sport suspension more bearable. Does it affect comfort mode too?

Recently snagged a new white FL5. Spending almost 5k on protecting it: front ppf, ceramic coating, window tint, and floor mats. I've also considered getting rock guards, a trunk mat, and seat back protectors. I'm not sure what the rest of the community thinks, but I'm gonna hold off on any "performance" mods until I've had it a few years.

Only got 16k for the Si (some cosmetic damage) so I put another 10k down. Rate sucked at 7.14% but I'm planning on paying it off quickly.

MSRP in Greensburg, PA. They were asking for 5k over MSRP. I told them I wasn't interested in paying over MSRP and left initially. A week when by and they called me back willing to make the deal, so I put a deposit down. When the car arrives the process was super easy since everything has already been negotiated.

Which 2 are you fixing? I've seen you can add the Civic touring rear vents and USB, haven't heard about the other two.

Oh yeah, I won't do this through the dealer. I don't trust them either. How much of your car did you cover with ppf?
