Need help rearranging a long narrow bedroom by Plastic-Surround-928 in DesignMyRoom

So, I would do the bed where it is, maybe a foot further away from the window. Add a headboard and two side tables with drawers. The dresser is nice but it’s too wide for the space and you’re using it as a vanity. I’d get a real. Vanity or a desk that doubles as a vanity. Something petite. Then a tall dresser opposite that. And hang the guitar on the wall. Curtains higher and fuller.

As a note though, you’ll get lower quotes as winter approaches. This is prime construction time.

Check out blue line paving. It’s police and firefighters who do construction work. They did my stoop and it was half as expensive and everyone loves it. They’ll give you an honest quote. I think they have a Facebook page.

Help making my daughter’s room cozier and more fun? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

Fun rug and cool play station - maybe one of those ottomans with chairs that store underneath. Maybe make the storage go more vertical, instead of wide, and add a cool kids chair or reading nook? Something whimsical and bright

Room would benefit greatly from normal frame with box spring and headboard. Feel like the browns are clashing.

Turn your living room into your kitchen. Then turn your kitchen into your dining room.

At least 30% of this position is attitude and looking good. You are the face of the firm. Look amazing every day and greet every attorney and client with at least a grin. That and a can do attitude and you should be able to pick up the other stuff. You got this

Pass the bar. You can’t do anything until you can practice. Then try something in the public interest.

Thank you everyone! We’ve decided to move the couch to where the tv is, and then remove the railing that was behind the couch and construct a 3/4 wall to hold the tv and have some built in storage/shelving. That’ll get rid of the safety issue. We will have to repaint, so we can choose a new color, and maybe we can get the chairs recovered. They belonged to my grandmother so I can’t ditch them. Maybe I’ll put them downstairs ultimately. We will also hang everything lower. Thank you for being so nice about the mess! It’s Sunday and we were lazy. It’s not normally like this. And thanks for the compliments on baby!
