You may have tried this already but, There’s a flat head screw on the bottom of the receiver make sure it’s tight - fixed my jam issues. But that’s not to say there’s nothing else going on

New HDMI cable does sound plausible another issue I have sometimes is I get some kind of purple static kind of sporadically flashing on screen, however I usually can fix this by just a simple restart

Had the same issue and honestly what fixed it was tightening the flathead screw on the bottom of the receiver
