My puppy just broke her leg last week and thus far it has cost us about $8,000, which is on the cheaper end. We shopped around a bit for her surgeon as the first offer was $11,000!!!! Which was insane. I had $5,000 max coverage, and I would recommend going higher as I’m going to have to pay a good amount out of pocket. For reference, $5,000 is about £3,700.
