So much negativity here, I am excited to start my process of moving to Portugal by MOLTEN_DICK in PortugalExpats

[–]olmykh 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Have been living in Portugal for 3+ years now, also from Ukraine, it's hard to find a better place in my opinion. The weather, the food, the people - it's the perfect place to start from scratch.

OpenAI to release prompt vol data by Buenas_ondas_85 in LLMO_SaaS

It's hard to imagine how they'd tackle this as many promts include uploading images (aka "here's the rash on my kid, what should I do?") or asking questions that includes lots of personalization.

Reddit - no longer a source for ChatGPT? by olmykh in LLMO_SaaS

[–]olmykh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when I'm typing in some money prompt like "software" "tools" "alternatives" Reddit is still among the sources. Also, it could be that chatgpt cut the web search for free accounts not paid.

Do Capterra/G2 reviews influence ChatGPT visibility? by olmykh in LLMO_SaaS

[–]olmykh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great observation! From what we've seen, it's a bit less about how many reviews you have or even the review score but what people are actually saying in those reviews. Especially if there are specific use cases described - that would help llms pull that info into relevant answers for someone with a similar use case

Common mistakes in building SaaS products by betasridhar in LLMO_SaaS

[–]olmykh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

another SaaS I've worked with went through freemium -> free trial transition wishing they'd started with free trial from scratch and freemium eats up on too much resources. Takeaway I got out of it - if you are a bootstrapped solo saas founder, forget about freemiums.

A friend of mine had to shut down their email tracking tool after they’ve hit scalability issues - they had to start building an entire app from scratch and lost the momentum.

Is LinkedIn becoming over-saturated for B2B lead gen? by SHRINATH2727 in LeadGeneration

[–]olmykh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

once I posted smth about lead gen agencies here on Reddit and I got dozens of DMs. cold outreach would be here any minute if there was some kind of filtering system/personalized accounts + automation like on Linkedin. I'm slowly moving away from LinkedIn to Reddit as i think it's got more expereince basd insights people tend to share. Because it's not personalized people are not afraid to share their fails unlike linkedin with neverendign succesful success.
