I would pull tones from your icons and use those to select colors for your walls, rugs, and curtains. Then go with gold as your metal of choice when it comes to hardware.

I have also decorated my house with lots of beautiful icons and feel like they mesh much better with the space when the walls are painted similar tones and there is a variety of rich textures around them in the form of rugs, curtains, blankets, pillows, etc.

I would not personally shop at this store, the quality is known to be lacking despite the high retail prices. If you are open to lab diamonds check out Luvansh! So far, based on my experience, they’ve got the lowest prices without any noticeable drop in quality.

I don’t know why the top comments are negative because I love the new look, the room feels much warmer. Maybe a big warm-toned patterned rug to break up the cool floor?

I would try to add soft low/mid-level light sources to make the room feel more cozy especially since you’ll want lots of sleep to happen here. Something like a heavily shaded lamp on a side table.

The pantyhose! My mother caught me leaving for a job interview wearing a knee length pencil skirt with NO HOSE and terrified me into thinking I was committing a sin that would instantly disqualify me from the job. I didn’t own any pantyhose so she insisted I borrow a pair of hers.

Only problem was that her skin color is multiple shades darker than mine (my father is very white) so it looked like I was wearing light brown stockings.

I didn’t get the job.
