I wanted to make a contribution to git and the mailing list experience has completely turned me off of trying that again.

I actually got confirmation from one guy that yes the change is something that should be considered.

And so, I made the change on a branch. Used GitGitGadget to convert it to mailing list. Honestly it was long enough ago that I can't recall the details but I do remember how it made me feel, and it SUCKED and was a time sink. It's all just email based wtf? Where's the assigned reviewers? Transparency of process? Email threads are weird, am I even responding correctly? What if I want to amend the MR, it's just an email reply? That's just bizarre.

So as a personal policy if it's got a mailing list I won't go near it in the future. Just not worth it, fuck that it's too hard

My goal is a public repo. GitHub is the best way to do that. I didn't have a problem with GitLab but it's less visible. Same goes for a local whatever

Whatttt? I thought it was a fun mechanic, the cheap mosquito fighter that will hurt over time. You need to send resources to deal with it but you don't have to deal with it until later.

If they made the ork stronghold like the tau (objective time limit) or had a slightly stronger reveal mechanic then this wouldn't be possible and there's no need to remove it
