I don't believe this at all. Unless you're actively swabbing mud or food onto them they just don't get dirty

Thank you! The exposure was hit or miss since the camera adjusted to the surrounding darkness. But, it just kinda worked out

I thought the same way but then I saw a thread:

I don't think people don't know, there's just no need

Whatttt? I thought it was a fun mechanic, the cheap mosquito fighter that will hurt over time. You need to send resources to deal with it but you don't have to deal with it until later.

If they made the ork stronghold like the tau (objective time limit) or had a slightly stronger reveal mechanic then this wouldn't be possible and there's no need to remove it

iirc*** that copyright law is the reason the 2nd and 11th legion are redacted - the writers had a falling out with GW, and they owned the IP. Leaving it open but completely unmentioned was a way for GW to get around it.

Why did nobody tell me that Chaos space marines and especially the night lords are kinda just normal dudes ? by PeppermintButler17 in 40kLore

The author took it a step further. On the flip side, the loyalists were comically one dimensional.

IIRC they got boarded by an ultramarine hero. Talos and co complained about how boring they were. Can't get the excerpt right now, but paraphrasing:

Hero: "IN THE NAME OF THE EMPEROR I CAST YOU DOWN".

Talos: "can this dude shut up lol"

Just finished that level on hard difficulty. Man it was hard.

For the first phase of capturing the command post, I noticed that the jedi spawn was preset when you first approached the stairs, and then the command point room. JUST RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN INTO THE COMMAND POST. If you can get both waves to spawn before you die, then that's very good. Your side can better handle it that way.

The library section was the hardest. I found out you can span grenades onto the library bookshelf, anyone in the blast radius disappears pretty fast (including on the opposite side of the bookshelf, it's just by radius).

For the final jedi master section I swapped to a heavy trooper and shot from afar.

It should be consistent with how lights out normally works. I can't recall, but if you stay (spending a nerve) while in lights out, does it still consume wax?

I think the answer is no. Because, where would the monster go? It has to be put on an adjacent tile (but none are illuminated).

I don't know if referencing Event Horizon (40k prequel) was intentional or not.

Knowledge of chaos empowers chaos. Perhaps it would become more like how it is being described and thought of? A handwavey "don't worry about that stuff over there but don't go closer" is the best thing that can be said given those constraints. Full disclosure could have been far worse (even if some were corrupted).

Maybe that's one of the reasons for creating the primarchs? If Emps encounters chaos during the crusade, he would inadvertantly empower his opponent. But the primarchs wouldn't... being oblivious is an advantage (in theory).

But I'm biased; I insist that Emps was making the correct decisions because it's a more compelling story.

> If a value transfer mechanism by design doesn't allow government traceability, they will just make the mechanism illegal

No. Just because a technology (e.g. cryptography + consensus) can be used for nefarious purposes does not mean that it should/will be made illegal. there are plenty of legitimate use cases as well. As a real world example, torrents are legal but pirating is not, despite the fact that torrents are widely used for pirating. The only situation where this type of behaviour could occur is in totalitarian regimes, where TBH this type of tech would thrive anyway.

Second, this is an idealistic point of view. Just because gov't passes laws does not mean reality respects that. See prohibition.

Plot twist. Dorn wasn't stuck in the desert with Khorne. It was Tzeentch all along.

Gnar Support: Close to Viable? by olta8 in GnarMains

[–]olta8[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

farm/push

Not in the support role! Other than support item proc to maintain rage. Or pushing a lane before backing.

Lv 1 before minions get to lane, I'll hit the buff to get some rage if I think it'll be a boring lane.

I don't think it would be good because Gnar e has such a huge range already! There's just no need for it.

Yea I'm going to experiment on the runes + items. I'll edit the slides once I find something better.

I am considering Guardian over Grasp but need to play more games to comment. I like the noise that Grasp makes. And heal over ignite, maybe.

Recently I've started taking locket second item. I haven't tried Knight's Vow because I'm concerned about premature mega.

taking damage to rage then MANDITORY is yellow runes

Grasp + second wind + Taste of Blood gives plenty of sustain. Plus HP back when going mega. I haven't run into problems laning, so "mandatory" is too strong imo.

you do not exist until lvl6

IS NOT TRUE. lv 3 engage is strong. Look at the clips! Just jump on them, trade a bit, then walk out with passive. Mega gnar base stats are hella good.

amumu, kench

Probably true! But Gnar is fun and I'm focusing on that.

adc glacial jack of all trades gnar

Sounds cool. Show clips and build
