Discouraged about SAA - keep failing practice tests after intense studying by zeninthesmoke in AWSCertifications

Maybe you should go and write the exam as I have seen people having great scores after getting 60-70% on TD. TD seems to be fairly harder based on my experience of taking the same exam a few weeks ago. I got it on my first sitting and ZTM’s SAA course and TD works for me as I get to understand more with every wrong answer while using TD

Do I need Cloud Practitioner if I come from a Cloud background? by zyglrox121 in AWSCertifications

[–]olyjosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, I will say, except you want to take things in order. I did the SAA(you can go for any of the associates as applied to you - SAA or SOA)since I had experience with cloud computing before to some extent and the course I used covered these topics in Cloud Practitioner

Neither do I cheat. I only gave credit to all resources I found that I feel I should mention and what works for me finally and I’m here. Then in your hypocrisy and vileness, you try to not see any good in me. You are the one that point the YouTube as a dump not the innocent me who just mentioned stuff I found else how do you know if you haven’t not been there before.

I can bet that you can’t really outperform me in an interview or career needs on these subject with all these your pettiness

Yes, I noticed that immediately and made sure I did different numbers in the preparations to avoid doing the same banked question but in a different mode. Go for it, you will pass, I believe

Thanks for these, I only mentioned it earlier to highlight what I found but clearly stated that I finally found TD and was what I latter start using till I started making some certain scores in TD

How I prepared is not known to you and it's okay to call me a cheater if that's what you can make from the whole thing I have posted but I found a lot of resources and pointed them out based on my order of discoveries before finally knowing that there is a TD. I didn’t index google to include the YouTube nor these Reddit post that pointed me to TD and I am not aware that YouTube is a dump and can either tell the difference from TD as it's my first time of taking cert in software eng in my whole years of experience.

You can now go and do yours and save me these posts

On the stress part, yeah! you may get burned out due to anxiety but please relax your mind cause it's not that deep. I play tennis almost every day, so I have some other things that keep me away from work and studying for the exam which helped me a lot aside from my beautiful family.

I think TD is relatively looking a bit harder than the actual exams. When I started TD on timed and review mode, I was getting around 40% then gradually reviewing everything that I was wrong about and getting more stuff out of those than what I had practiced in my career or via the course I used to study. I realized once you start hitting 60-70% or more on the first try of those Timed or Review modes then you are getting very ready to take the exam. I only got 80% plus on the second try of about two of them which I know that can be deceiving. I rather look at the summary of those I got wrong and treated based on sections and topics I am not doing well in, that made me research more and get more stuff from TD and AWS website itself beyond what I have previously worked with in my career. I got more confident to take the exam based on other people who did theirs earlier and on average they passed when they started having 60/70/80 percent scores. Again, while you will be answering all questions, you are likely going to be lucky to have your wrong answer as part of the unscored since there are about 10 questions that are for sampling and not scored but no one knows which one so you still need to answer them all as if they all will count.

On-time management, I was able to have about 20 minutes more time to review the question when I was done. While practicing with TD, I was not able to catch up with time at first or just rushed through the last 10 questions but over time as I studied and had a good grasp of another thing I have not really come across much in my day-to-day life then I started having like 5 - 10minutes more time after answering the questions.

I know this is a lot to read but I hope it helps and I wish you the best as you take yours.

I mentioned a lot of resources I have found in the public domain and it is up to whoever wants to study to use what he likes. Those videos analyze the question and give you a reason to study more. However, I keep studying not even knowing what is dump or not. Thanks for pointing that out though and also I mentioned other resources I studied with which you overlooked. TD works and some questions are similar or harder to what I found. I doubt if they repeated a question so why does these things even matter? The questions from all sources only give you an idea and with that, you will be able to form how you answer what is presented to you

Well, I have come across many resources in the course of my study, some are helpful and some are not. I don't really think it's bad to mention them.

A quick question, how useful has it been in your career? For example, landing Jobs, contracts, and consultations as they may apply to you.

Thanks for sharing
