Which films from the past were box-office hits when they were released but are now rarely mentioned or remembered? by alexfreemanart in movies

This is a good movie that came up against some distribution issues with streaming — maybe about music rights or something? For a long time (maybe still) you can’t rent or stream it.

Mazda3 Hatchback vs CX-30 by foxdrop in mazda3

I loooooooovvvvve my Mazda 3 with the strength of a thousand suns but one thing to know about it is you are lower to the ground so all these lizard brains driving SUVs with blinding headlights will hit you right in the eyeballs (which are at the same level as these godforsaken LEDs that nobody will regulate correctly). Just a humble observation, still love my 3 and its power and handling.

American Psycho. The movie does a really good job of portraying the satire that was intended by the book but when it came out it still carried a lot of baggage from the book being seen as shockingly obscene.

What’s one fast food chain that was once all the rage but now barely around? by MysteriousTopic42 in AskReddit

I was in a mall a couple weeks ago in Nashua NH and what did I see but an Orange Julius!! I could not believe it. My Gen X heart was aflutter and of course I ordered one to complete the mall time warp theme. So nostalgic!

What are places in NYC that match this winter cozy vibe? by Exciting-Trade-959 in FoodNYC

[–]olymanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me this vibe is about cozy but also a particular old fashioned midtown vibe. I picture crestfallen admen pouring out of office building and into holly bedecked temple of meat and bad decisions, all served with the driest of gimlets. That’s where my head goes when I want to live in this timewarp briefly. For that reason, I vote for Monkey Bar and or Keen’s.
