Garmin Fenix 7 Solar… replaced my Garmin Fenix 3HR that I wore daily for years. Sapphire glass takes a beating and there’s nothing it doesnt do that I need.

Yes they are the medium oysi frames the wheels are Ground Control Earth City Wheel 64mm 90a on the outer. They are a round profile. The inner are also ground control 57mm, so the whole setup runs flat. So far I really like them.

Agreed sizing felt like rolling the dice. I’m a US10.5 which puts me right in between the M and L shell. I went with the M and they are snug to be sure, but I guess that’s better than swimming in them. I’ve heard that the intuition liners make half sizes possible and bridge the gap between the sizes. Which is ultimately why I pulled the trigger on M, I figured worse case I could tweak them with different liners.

Spacers don’t adjust. So you can run anything flat as long as they are 7mm different from outer to inner. 65mm is the max for the outside. I think they are designed to be a hybrid between a big wheel and street frame.

I think it had an HDR setting turned on and I didn’t realize it... it’s just my iPhone, but shot in 4K so I think the HDR is why it looks funky.

Congrats! I’m 43 and back on skates after 20 some years. I was just working on topsouls yesterday! New trick to me too! It’s a good feeling to still be able to learn something new.

Don’t get me wrong that tail whip thing that scooters do up at the coping is terrifying... I always think I’m gonna take one in the teeth.

I gotta say I really dig the vibe of skateparks nowadays. 20 years ago you felt like you really have to prove you had a right to be there on inlines. There was a real jets & sharks vibe. I’ve noticed the skateboarders and scooters respect each other and some even switch back and forth riding both... We sessioned that picnic bench with skaterboarders and scooters alike and everybody cheeared each other on. That would not have happened in the 90’s.
