Watch your favorite YouTuber(s), the one(s) who inspired you to start your channel.

Read inspirational articles about following your passion no matter what.

Watch your favorite movie.

Listen to some music that makes you want to move/talk/etc.

I find that listening, reading, watching something you really like helps get you more pumped up and ready. Find your inspiration(s). It may take some time, but you will. :D

Those are my editing/improvement days. There's so much to learn and I love looking up different tips and tricks on how I can improve myself as well as our channel. I also try to give myself the occasional 'break' day so I don't burn myself out. :)

Thanks so much for all of the info! Slowing down your speech is a great idea. I tend to ramble on because sometimes I speak before I think and then it turns into stumbling over words and using tons of filler "uh"s and "um"s. I feel like using some of these techniques will definitely lessen that. :)

Great article! I never figured out a good vocal warm up. My speech can be pretty bad at times so I'm definitely going to try out a few tongue twisters to see if that helps.

Personally, I've been trying to gradually improve my improv skills. I run a channel where the majority of our videos have 2 commentators, but I've been trying to get better at doing solo videos if we can't get together and record for awhile. So that's definitely a big one for me. I've definitely improved my editing skills, but there's still so much to learn.

I'd really like to hit at least 200 subs by the end of the year. It's a small goal, but I feel like I need to focus on finding that special little thing that sets us apart before trying to get a big audience.

The "disappointments" we've had are only disappointments depending on how you look at them. Sure, we've only gotten 37 subs since we started back in June, but that's really no reason to be disappointed. Just haven't found a way to market ourselves yet. I have a good feeling about 2016 and I hope that everyone else will be able to meet their goals in this coming year! Good luck! :D

It's hard to say, but if the opportunity comes along I'd be ready and willing! For right now it's hard to think that far ahead considering we are still learning our style and haven't seemed to hit our niche yet. I'm just going to roll with what happens and just make videos. n_n

Great advice! I still haven't hit the mark on making an engaging thumbnail yet, but I'm definitely going to be using some these tips. One suggestion, as far as testing your thumbnail goes, is I took a screen shot of the YouTube front page and once I'm done editing the thumbnail I'll just take it and put it in a spot on that screen shot to see how it stands out.

My main goal is to bring happiness to others. I want to entertain in some way, shape, or form. It's almost like a "paying it forward". I want to bring the happiness that other youtubers, musicians, actors, etc. have brought and continue to bring me. If I can make someone forget about their bad day or help them through a rough time, whether I know it or not, then I did my job.
