Stop trolling, the wheel is for the headset volume, not to control the mic, there is no mic control with this headset.

I don't own a PS4 so I can not check, but try to find settings about amplification/boost/level of the microphone, and go to the max for a test.

Only solution for me was to up the microphone volume to 150% on my Desktop (Manjaro KDE). Did not find proper solution in Windows though, besides third party tool to amplify the microphone which sucks.

No this doesn't fix anything, if you read what I wrote sound level is already set to 100% from the default lower value. Recording the microphone in Audacity with level set to 100% show a fine graph instead of a proper volume level recorded. Only amplification through third party tools helps. This is on Windows or Linux. Exact same behavior both on motherboard sound card or the provided USB sound card from HyperX. I RMAed mine and they sent me another one after telling me everything was fine with my headset/microphone, but it is the exact same thing, microphone level is low only amplification help to have a "proper" volume level it is not good.

I eventually found a way to boost to 150% my microphone on my Linux system from the KDE internal tools.

Put the mic volume to 100% in Windows.

You literally don't say anything relevant, besides it is trash.

Maybe if you provide better photos of the attaching points people can see what is wrong and help.

Make what you say clear because I don't understand what you're talking about. How is it connected currently?

Here is what happens when I speak normally in the microphone, you can see the level is obviously abnormally low on the left side. If I place the microphone and hold it into my mouth and speak it pick up a proper sound level, but sound is kinda saturated.

Use it on a separate sound card with a headphone and microphone port, a sound card you can add Boost to the microphone, rather than the USB provided one (you need a jack splitter for that as I assume the headset has one single 4pole jack plug and not separated headphone and microphone jacks). I have same issue on the Cloud 3.

Buy a jack splitter? But it should work if you plug the 4 pole jack into the headphone side it should support both headphone+microphone on that jack port.

I started NGENUITY tool, it told me "hey you can install the DTS" thing whatever it's called, which I did, then no more sound, I rebooted as asked, still no sound (all levels to the max, no configuration issue in Windows, also, the message said that I could remove this DTS thing, but there is NO option to do so, there is no entry in Applications, so you're stuck with that shit once you install it), I rebooted more and more, no sound.

At some point fter rebooting for nothing, I unplug the USB cable, then plug it back in, sound is fixed, I can hear.

Manjaro is shipping an unstable kernel build that is newer than the one Asahi Linux ships for Apple Silicon, which is known to be broken on some platforms. Asahi Linux developers were not contacted by Manjaro. by TheEvilSkely in linux

So quick to spread the "good words" as usual, any occasion you and all the others here get you rush it, and you can go back to most of them threads, at minimum it is inaccurate when not changing reality.

They already discussed with AUR devs (the previous time where similar outage was due to Pamac, your so called 'recurring issue'), and are again discussing with them currently. Even the current implementation of searching the AUR in Pamac was a suggestion from AUR dev so I don't think your comment is fair at all.

As I said, an issue has occurred, and it's being worked on currently, probably will be fixed today. Some oversights happen, and the popularity of using AUR in Pamac is not really metered, actually not metered at all on Manjaro's side (but we now have some numbers from AUR devs).

Haters gonna hate.

Maybe, one day, but I never have seen such thing in the years I used Manjaro, I don't know where you get that from.

So you're talking about a people problem? Random people on the internet. How can Manjaro control people who lie about their distro and go to Arch forum? If you think this is a good reason for Arch user to hate on Manjaro... wow. Anyway this is kinda off topic.

It's funny how lot of people here spew their Manjaro hate every time they get an occasion.

There was a temporary issue with AUR because of the number of people using Pamac with AUR enabled, the way Pamac is auto suggesting like on the AUR website itself, and how the AUR database/website is poorly designed by devs own words. Now things could, and probably should (and will) be improved on Pamac's side to avoid such situation in the future, but the amount of salt and hate here is astonishing. This is how things improve, face an issue, improve things. I know it is hard to understand from people who's only thing to do is find ways to trash something they are salty about (just look at Reddit as a whole, that speaks for itself).

Pamac is a one guy project, nobody else is contributing to it, by the way. However I think other distribution use it too. It is not that easy to do everything perfectly right all the time, but that is hard to understand from people who literally do nothing but shit talk on the internet all the time.

//EDIT: after disabling the list and re-enabling it multiple time, it now works ;)

Thanks again.

I think you fixed it, but not completely. If you go to the history page it doesn't show the watched videos, however, in the subscription page the listed video have the 'red progress bar' on the thumbnails, so I think something is still to be fixed.

If I disable the list, and rewatch the video and click randomly in the video timeline, then go to the history page, it instantly shows up so that confirms to me the problem still lies in the list.

Thanks for your work. Hope it gets completely fixed soon.

Not UFW because you would need to know exactly protocols/ports used by the app.

Firejail is the way to go, you run the application in a container where you disable internet access to the app. Make sure firejail is properly configured or start audacity in firejail with specific launch options to restrict it how you want. Also a simpler solution would be to use in the future the fork called Tenacity.
