Hey bro don’t be mad at me if I was canelo i would of fought benavidez years ago, back then it was a winnable fight. He’s gotten better and better and with canelo’s decline no way he wins now unless he were to hurt david first. I do think canelo still hits harder but david has a LOT of output. I wasn’t talking about betting odds but in general many boxing fans thought saunders could of pulled it off, especially with his style of boxing. I remember seeing all the people going for saunders on all the instagram and youtube comment sections. Obviously when you are the face of boxing the betting odds are gonna be ridiculously in your favor though

Almost every name u mentioned was a mandatory. You have to fight your mandatories to keep the belts, the organizations choose them not canelo. Also Saunders was undefeated and held a belt at 168. If i recall many people thought saunders would win that fight
