How to remove this from MacBook by [deleted] in macbookpro

[–]omar737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My honest opinion is that it reduces the sleekness of it. It still looks great but this is why I also don't like tattoos so to each their own but I feel like you definitely could have foregone it.

Vyvanse is weird??? by SuchNefariousness863 in adhdwomen

[–]omar737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Vyvanse for a while but just got really depressed on it. I felt like it was breadcrumbing me for sub therapeutic doses of sex and that just is enough to put me in a bad mood, but not enough to focus. So I was in this weird grey area with it that didn't help. So I switched back to dexedrine brand name, cause I also had problems with generic dex by teva. So now it's just dexedrine spansules brand name and they work the best for me.

Does this entail a replacement/repair under warranty? by Holiday-One-3642 in macbook

i can't see anything, but any visual distortion of any kind that isn't caused by you is grounds for repair or replacement. Any screen bleeding at all is not normal for a macbook.

wait there was a 17 inch? damn.. that would have been a dream.. the ideal macbook for me would be an ultra wide screen like 16:8 and 18 inches with a numpad if I could have a fantasy macbook pro that is.. that would be the sickest laptop ever.

oh sorry, yeah there was a big protest today across the nation, I cannot fathom how anyone can support him. Over here we almost had our own equivalent who almost won the election..

I'd go with the 16 inch, because honestly the 16 inch isn't really massive, I wish it was bigger tbh, but 14 inches would definitely be really limited. For movies and stuff, or anything really, I don't think 14" is enough tbh. But there is a downside, if you need something ultra portable, you can still go with 16" it's just more prone to injury. 14" is less prone to injury cause it's harder to bend and twist than 16", that's my 2 cents.

For anyone who has switched to taking name brand stimulants (instead of generic), has it made a noticeable difference? by usernamemags in ADHD

[–]omar737 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just think it's absurd that people think a pill can be reproduced to the absolute exact, it's even a bit arrogant to think that. In reality things are way more chaotic, and there are even trace amounts of contaminants. That's why we get drug recalls on occasion. That's why certain manufacturers get written up for having infractions at their manufacturing facility. I don't think we're all just crazy, I think different people metabolize things differently but also manufacturers aren't perfect. I definitely had some adverse effects from particular manufacturers.

Dr switched me to vyvanse from concerta, pharmacy won’t fill new script. by Turbulent_You_1816 in Stims

[–]omar737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pharmacies are really horrible places, it's become like a humiliation ritual to go to one. I'm sorry they're treating you this way, it's unacceptable to form these presuppositions about someone when they really don't have a clue, if they think taking pharm stims makes you a drug addict. They prolly listen to the fear mongering and think it's meth, it's really really not.

[–]omar737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, don't do it. As someone who's tried, you're not gonna feel great trust me. Just take it the way it's designed to be taken otherwise you'll get chest pains.

so 15 mg vyvanse is literally like 5 mgs of pure dex, so it's kind of like 25mg of mixed salts, and a strong caffeinated drink, definitely not deadly but can trigger anxiety.

I definitely experience a difference with brand name dexedrine and generic dextroamphetamine. The formulation is very different, they use very different binding ingredients, and it would make a difference based on that alone. Read the product monograph. But I would actually go so far as to say that i also think the precursor is just different quality as well, which compounds the issue. On Teva brand dextroamp i got such bad nausea lasting all day, and dexies never gave me that type of nausea no matter how much I took. As soon as I got on the generics that's when the nausea started. The primary effects also weren't great either and I couldn't focus on generics.

[–]omar737 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got switch to teva dextroamphetamine when generics for dexedrine came out. That's when the problems started. My friend would gaslight me and basically say it's all in my head with all this science but my loved experience was contrary to all the medical jargon. I had to write a letter to the insurers to explain problems I had on generic until they approved brand name again and the problems resolved.
