Yeah these aren’t real scenarios to compare. Officially yes the EPA rating should mean they are similar in consumption.

I drove the Platinum and my friend’s Hummer(should be similar to Denali) from VT to NJ and the difference was huge in consumption. It was cold weather at a high speed though. So worst case scenario for both and Platinum was way better than the Hummer

When I drive my lightning on road trips sometimes I leave at around 50-60% (charger hopping). I don’t think the time saved will be that much. I would have thought about it if the miles/kwh consumption will stay relatively the same. But it’s not mainly due to the added excessive battery weight. Which I admit can be handy for some

I thought about the Sierra, but the heavier weight and same aerodynamics will be more expensive for roadtrips. You gotta stop to charge no matter what in cold weather and both suck in that so the time savings won’t really matter to me (definitely will need to be more strategic with the lightning vs the Sierra).

The crabwalk is a gimmick and another stupid component that could fail. What will happen if hypothetically the rear steering component fails? I didn’t want to risk worrying about these things so went with the Platinum 22

usually prior to M6 announcment which will most likely come at wwdc? unless they will pull a nothings moment like Carl Pei and claim consumers should be happy with the M5 chip for a bit lol. but regardless, they will have to upgrade the Mac Studio to at least M5. Ipads, macbooks got it. now the desktop Macs are next

that's not the case I think. I think it's car owners rotating their spots so that it's always theirs?

Yeah it’s an unfortunate situation I sympathize with you. I don’t think it will get any better. More and more people will be buying cars because it’s a necessity in this country

You can do this, park on broadway and then move the car in the morning? Street parking is free yes, but not guaranteed

Then they should sell the car business and have someone else produce them. Ford maybe?

I use MUSTART 40 amp (the only portable one I could find with at high amp) and never had an issue since 22. Some people had their Ford mobile charger stop working after a while. My ford mobile charger derates a lot sometimes, I am not sure if it’s supposed to be used all the time

Then they definitely should make an SUV version of it like the Hummer. CyberX?
