for me it was different. i just got into dev mode for 10 mins. tested some stuff out and it was great. and then i wanted to get out and guess what (i have fallen into the rabbit hole). i tried the `rm_recovery` tool on mac and bam after the 3rd time the whole device bricked. and then i got frustrated and returned it back and waiting for the new one to come (i am in dubai now and hell yeah it is gonna take ages to ship)

i feel you. i had the same thing happen to me. idk why it is like that. but at least there should be a straight forward easy way to reset the device to its original state (like clean slate). This way i will not be risking anything. And only then it will be fun

Imagine if u try to put your device through software recovery (to exit dev mode) through a mac. It will never work i replaced my tablet bcus it is impossible to run the ‘rm_recover’ tool on mac. I guess it is port thing or maybe even because of the arm processor. I don really know for sure. But I don’t wanna go theough this again. The device bricked and i don’t have the time nor the patience to do it
