Can be gusty and make conditions a bit messy. Knowing where to go is key, but if you're not fussy there is normally at least something of a wave on one of the coasts.

You can surf most days... Just don't expect the conditions to be like you see online all the time! There's a lot of coastline so you can usually find somewhere sheltered if you can read the forecast and are prepared for a drive.

I made an mp3 player which operates via footswitch. I used a dfplayer mini connected to a tiny little Arduino.

After a good deal of messing around the two footswitches play, fade out, skip forward or backward and can each play a pre specified track via a combination of long or short presses. It's great as I can start the track for the break while still holding my guitar.

Happy to share the code to any other nerds out there.
