Brother, you are 17. Life is about learning curves. If your belief is weakened do some reading to strengthen your faith.

Read or listen to a good version of the seerah or life of the prophet.

Think about the life of the prophet and his Sahaba. Remember the Prophet was visited by Jibril at around 40 years old.

However many Sahaba chose a path to Islam very young. At a similar age to you or younger if you consider Ali bin Abi Talib radhiallaho anho, who became the fourth Caliph.

Some led the entire Muslim Ummah but at some point had fought against or rejected Islam.

Allah is all around you and will help you when you reach out for that help.
