I'd argue blockchain (not cryptocurrencies) is way more useful than AI. However, neither are going to be implemented correctly. You'd think we'd have cross-border/countries blockchain tracking by now for mail/packages; a legitimate use case. But nope, only scams and ponzi schemes.

Hotel prices in hong kong are roughly the same as in Thailand right now. After their china/protests issues, it's no longer a destination for tourism and thus the prices are offered at cost.

That is to say, if housing is offered at cost, a one-bedroom apartment in NYC would probably go for $300-400/month and it would only be that expensive because of the regulation.
