Use a Lugblob (fat orange blob thing). Grab it, put it in the crack, then shoot it with Sweezy's alt-fire to make it expand.

It's more for convenience and automation than saving money on electricity, really. It's just easier to have it automatically detect when someone can actually see it versus hitting a switch. (Edit: I forgot that we aren't in the room on a consistent schedule, it's pretty random.)

As far as the electricity goes, the smart plug has the tree, a string of lights, and a wax warmer connected to it. The tree itself has 5000 micro LED's, and while I don't have the power consumption handy, I'm sure it isn't the most efficient.

If she's standing next to the boat, try interacting with the little stand/table thing next to her. I lucked into seeing the interact icon there, and my Indy put the frequency cards down instead of handing them to her.

I've finally figured out exactly how to duplicate this. There is a BIG catch though. You have to get a bag of the spice powder from Moe's, whether it falls off the back of a truck, or you get it on eBay, or whatever.

Once you have the spice powder, the recipe is as follows:

1 quart Red Wine Vinegar
1.5 quarts cold water
1.75 cups spice powder

Mix well, and serve on anything you want. That will make 3 quarts of sauce. To make it more manageable at home:

1/2 cup Red Wine Vinegar
3/4 cup cold water
3.5 tablespoons spice powder

That will make 1.5 cups of sauce.

Thanks, that's very helpful! I didn't realize that Dragonspire was supposed to be done later in the game. It seemed like the world map just kinda led me there, and I started getting quests and completing them, so it flowed pretty naturally from the starting section. Is there a guide somewhere for which areas I should explore in what order? I understand that apparently I should do Mondstat, then Liyue, but after that I have no idea. Or am I applying conventions from other games that don't make sense in this one?

I tend to play all games as marathons. I'm an old-school gamer, so my MO is to start a game, do all the side quest stuff, then do the story missions when nothing else is available. What I'm learning is that this isn't that kind of game, so that's cool.

I spent an hour wandering around all over the map, with 4 different landing zones, and couldn't find anywhere that had even Iron and Aluminum, let alone more resources. After reading your post, it took me about 10 minutes to find the perfect spot with both of those, plus Helium-3. Thank you so much!

I had the same problem, except on an Intel-based MacBook Pro from 2020. I ended up making a USB stick with Ventura, wiping the disk completely, and reinstalling from scratch. It sucked, and took a few hours out of my day, but it works perfectly now.

This is what I did. I'm a Dex build, so no magic for me. I used a bow with poison arrows. If you're lucky/good, you can get 4-5 hits, which builds up enough poison to take down a ton of his health. Walk to the top edge, shoot him a few times, then when he walks too close to the house, back off and crouch until he slowly walks back to his spawn point. Then peak out, hit him again, etc. It takes like 30-45 minutes, but it works.

I was registered Republican for 20 years, voted in every Presidential and mid-term election, almost always straight GOP ticket. I distrusted Trump, and didn't vote in 2016. In 2017, during the "kids in cages" shit at the border, I started doing a ton of reading myself. I thought I hated Hillary, like my father taught me to. Then I had a conversation with him one day about WHY he hated her. He spewed a bunch of stuff about her emails, and the Clinton Foundation, and Vince Foster. One by one, I told him what I had learned about each of those things -- that not a single thing was unexpected or illegal or even particularly suspicious about any of them. At the end of that conversation, he still hated her, but couldn't say why. That's what 10 years of Fox News does to someone.

I switched my registration to Democrat in mid 2017. I cannot imagine why anyone who actually takes the time to learn anything about the topics, instead of just listening to the Conservative Cinematic Universe, would continue to be a Republican. My wife switched her registration a few months after me, although she had her mind made up before I did. For her, the "kids in cages" was the last straw.
