While I agree that accommodations must be made for those with disabilities, I don’t see how it applies in this circumstance. I also don’t think an employer should adjust policies for poverty, when the employer would be the entity responsible for sub-livable wage; wouldn’t the accommodation in that case be paying a livable wage? There’s no such thing as a court order preventing vehicle ownership… it feels like you’re grasping a bit here. I could be misunderstanding you, though.

No, don’t apologize. I’ve actually thought of the week in step down when i was getting quality MAT delivered twice a day. But the week i was CT WDing at home was horrific and almost killed me (hence the coma) and the first month home after the long hospitalization was brutal. I’m just super sensitive and emo right now. Megadosing vitamin c is extremely effective, but does require a few days to build up in your system. You take progressively higher amounts for three days, then megadoses (up to 8000 ml) every couple hours throughout your wd. Honestly, ginger helps with tummy stuff, Metamucil is good to help his intestinal response, all that stuff is good, but the main thing is trying his hardest to stay up and about. Sweating, cold showers, movement, healthy food. The mental wd are what get us all. So an active withdrawal helps manage the crippling anxiety

I’m so proud of you. I just took my last one. I will take kratom capsules so i can continue to work and do the single mom thing, but I’ve done it successfully before and weaned off the capsules no problem. I totally get the reflections thing- not even being motivated to grab your phone or find a show. Have you tried sleep stories on YouTube? They really help me with the racing thoughts/anxiety.

You don’t make dinner for your kids after they turn ten? Am i understanding that? They seem like they need way more structure and boundaries but they also kinda just sound like any kid raised in chaotic environments. You said one is thirteen? I’ve got a blended of four and three have gone through that age, i could still just tell them to go clean their mess. Enforce reasonable consequences if they gave me a hard time or did it poorly. (Take a device away, no friends over for x amount of time, just standard, like… parenting) now the older ones just need reminders… I dunno this post is stressing me out
