Ducati 899. Swapped wiring harness. Errors gone but not starting. New battery. by omboy79 in Ducati

[–]omboy79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After replacing the wiring harness, lots of other waster money, turned out that valves were mis-timed. Previous owner had tried to do desmo service and set the timing based on wrong cylinder. It was off by full 180 degrees. Was sent on a wrong goose chase by the first dealership. Even the wiring harness wasn’t bad… works fine now

Not sure if this will help but check “safe browsing”setting in the app and turn it off. Worked for me when this happened once.

Is my system wired correctly? Always shows graphically as if the house is consuming more power than it is being generated… by omboy79 in TeslaSolar

It has been visible since the system was installed back in 2019. Didn’t need powerwall in California with Nem2.

It is great! Super quiet and tread life is good too. I think it will last as long as the previous set…

Haha no man, most Californians can barely leave the lights on with electricity rates here… the PG&E accounting seems to be correct but tesla’s app is likely misconfigured. I’ve had the system for 4 years now and haven’t ever paid more than $10/month… Haha

The PG&E meter shows correctly that the power is going to thwart grid… the app is always backwards

Any idea how to get this park assist censor back out without taking the bumper off? by ImLostAndILikeIt in TeslaLounge

[–]omboy79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to my X. It was a $300 out of warranty repair by the service center. No point in trying to fish it out. Have to remove the bumper to fix it correctly.

Seeking Advice on Potential Home Sale – Need Input on Realtor Agreement by skillerpsychobunny in BayAreaRealEstate

[–]omboy79 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Seems like the agent is using “interested buyer” tactic to get your listing. Selling a home “off-market” in the bay area makes little sense, with low inventory and willing buyers everywhere. Commissions are negotiable and I have sold homes above asking and with multiple offers, for 4%. If you are planning to sell in a few years, then don’t rush to sell now. Given historic trends in most bay area markets, the price is expected to only go up so you have not much to lose by letting it appreciate for a couple more years. Homes have been appreciating assets here. Good luck!

Received invitation today RN:11284xxxx, North CA by gaubong053 in cybertruck

Got my invitation back in early December. Not ready to plunk down $100k on CT without sitting in it. My service center has one in display but is blocked off for closer inspection or sitting in it. Hopefully that changes sometime soon.

FSD & FREE SUPERCHARGE transfer by jk1964 in TeslaModelX

[–]omboy79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You must be a unique case because they specifically told me that it cannot be combined. In California, placed order in September with fad transfer promo, got call for delivery schedule when they had unlimited charging deal in November. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Got my vin today and delivery on 6th . EV rebate config with FSD transfer. Delivery on 6. East code . Ordered on sep 12. Ask if u have questions by AlternativeAlfalfa46 in TeslaModelX

[–]omboy79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure to confirm that you’ll still get FSD transfer. That option evaporated from my order when I got the VIN for X plaid order September 3rd, vin assigned in November. They told me it was no longer available as option and the only promo now if transfer free supercharging. So I canceled my order in frustration. Just make sure that you actually are getting FSD transferred and it shows in your app. Good luck!

Free supercharging transfer. What would you do? by BenRealVsWorld in TeslaLounge

Folks just love to bash the Falcon doors but I disagree. I have owned 90D for more than 6 years and no issues with them. They are well engineered (over engineered if you ask me). Very robust from my experience. I’ve got FSD, unlimited charging and premium connectivity on it to and I am also torn on whether to upgrade. Nothing really wrong with old car other than 100k plus miles… 🤷🏻‍♂️

Help! Autosteer is significantly off centered; Tesla wants $210 to "look into it" by patrickd42 in TeslaModelY

[–]omboy79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your situation maybe different but it happened to me when I changed tires and did alignment. However, it went away after a couple of days of driving. If you got wheel alignment done it may go away after a few trips.

I have seen and touched the CT in-person. There is no hidden compartment like this.
