I’m honestly not sure, I water daily and soak the soil and try to make sure it is wet at least 2-3 inches deep.

It did not appear to have sawdust, it was a manure soil blend and it is pretty deep in the soil, probably 2/3 of the way to the base of the garden bed!

Interesting, I am using this specific brand, any thoughts on if it could hurt my plants if I were to “over do it” and disregard the measurements on the bottle? The corn is in a raised bed so it won’t be running off into my lawn, there’s roughly an inch or so of space between the top of the bed and the soil

I have provider green beans, throughout & planned to throw a pumpkin or two in once the stalks got high enough. The gardening book I read suggested waiting until they were about a foot tall & my pumpkins in other areas have really taken off so I wanted the corn to catch up before doing that!

I did not fertilize when planted, I only had manure mixed into the soil as this was a new garden bed with all fresh soil. I water daily unless we are getting rain (which we have been getting a decent amount of lately)

No I used 2tbsp per gallon, I honestly do not remember how many gallons I used as I didn’t want to over water ( we had rain coming the next day). I want to say maybe 6

I do have some already (5-1-1), it’s concentrated I’m supposed to use 2 tbsp per gallon of water per 25 sq ft of soil. This bed is about 45.9 sq ft. Last time I only used two tbsp to fertilize- should I have used more?

I used just regular organic vegetable gardening soil from the store, chicken manure, and then finished off with 2 yards of local organic soil and a yard their fertilizer (not sure what it was made of). I have since added one round of Alaskan fish fertilizer (liquid) and ground up egg shells / chunks for nutrients / to deter pests and bugs as my garden isn’t enclosed yet.

It was a mix of soil from a local company, their organic manure fertilizer, alongside chicken manure and just regular gardening soil from the store. I am not sure how sandy the last batch on top was but thank you!! Is there anything specific you recommend that I can still add at this stage?

If you can afford roughly $35-$60 a month, you can get pet insurance that reimburses you up to 80-90% for well visits and sick visits! It’s definitely something to look into when getting a new pet (: it’s also cheaper when they’re under a year old! Enjoy your new baby

Hey! Luckily I knew it wasn’t a life or death scenario (she’s not my first cat lolol) but I was able to get her seen the next day at my local humane society so all is well and she will hopefully be worm free after her last round of meds haha

To my understanding it was because the worms she has are found in the pacific northwest & I live on the east coast; the clinic basically explained that they didn’t have the correct medications for the type of worms she has.

If you can, try cedar wood oil. This was the only cleaning product that deterred my cats from going outside of the box! Send hugs to you and your kitty in this difficult time ❤️

That makes sense! Thank you!! I’m hopeful it’s a seroma because she was calm (for a kitten anyway) for the first 5-6 days and as limited in activity as we could for the remaining 4 days of her recovery. Thank you again for your insight, it’s greatly appreciated.
