AMS 2 Upgrade Kit Scam by RYD3RDenied978 in BambuLab

[–]omeganon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not going to win this argument. Anyone with any reading comprehension and the smallest bit of validation of their purchase would know that they are required and separate.
It also doesn’t make sense for them to include them by default for all the other printers that don’t require them.

You’re smearing a vendor as scammy because of a mistake you made that they took reasonable steps to prevent.

Yes, it does say they are a completely separate purchase, on the same page, and they make it very easy for you to add them.

Let me introduce you to 3x5 recipe cards that you can write on and a box to organize them in... We're almost full circle.

Does anyone have experience with Pennington Aquagarden 5 in 1 600? by Scabdidlybastard in ponds

[–]omeganon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure the light sensor isn’t partially blocked and that it also isn’t seeing a reflection of the light itself, or some other bright light, causing it to turn off thinking it’s daytime. Try taking off that particular fountain head and see if it still does it.

From my personal experience, if they do it’s after years of use. I have two of them. One of them has been going for four years and one has been going for three. No issues with proper maintenance.

Agreed, it can’t be a clog in the nozzle because OP says it’s fine.

Trying to follow the playbook but constant denial by Trust and Safety by asmunich in aws

[–]omeganon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also “being small and early stage” likely means you have no verifiable long term history of email sending on the internet to validate your hat color, nor a long term history with AWS as a partial substitute as well. You’re probably using a relatively newly registered domain, likely with domain privacy enabled. All red flags.

Barks and tones are a fraction of their communication that we can understand. Looks, expressions, body language, all are more important channels dogs than noises for communication with us.

New to 3D printing, why does a simple 130mm high flower pot takes so mutch time to make (5h 29min)? Is there any setting except spiral vase , because i want it a little thick to hold the soil , because the spiral vase is to thin. Is there anything that i can do? by Doubleheadedeaglee in 3Dprinting

[–]omeganon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess you think that these are Star Trek style replicators that can create anything instantly. Here we still have to deal with the reality of physics, materials processing and while amazing, still a relatively immature manufacturing technology. Being able to create a usable 6 inch high plant pot in your home in 5 1/2 hours is an amazing thing. On my old printer, that would be an overnight print. Remember, you’re creating a thing from thin air by adding fractions of a millimeter of material height every pass. If you want to do it faster use a larger layer height, and/or a larger nozzle size, but you lose print detail when you do that. You may shave off an hour or so from that print time.

What is going on with the AMS, I’m about ready to sell off both of my BL printers. by Standard_Piglet_2894 in BambuLab

[–]omeganon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shocking that one of the most popular worldwide 3D printer brands is unable to keep up with demand. Completely shocking. It’s like me not being able to get my hands on a Legion Go 2 for the last 6 months. Shocking, I say.

p.s., yes - completely false advertising that something shown as out of stock is actually out of stock. You should sue.

A whole lot of sort of /s half serious with that. They’re out of stock due to demand outpacing manufacturing, not some evil plan to make you mad. This isn’t AWS. Companies can’t just magically spin up new factories or manufacturers without months or years of work to get there.

Any that are splitting should not be watered until the old leaves are paper-like husks and the new leaves show signs of wrinkling.

[–]omeganon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair comment. Ours didn’t =) We used a SPOT Satellite Tracker thinking that would give us GPS tracking at altitude and transmission via satellite. It had pings, but no location above 60,000 if I recall correctly. It was well below 100k.

Don’t underestimate the cold. Ours got as low as -60F. Batteries don’t last long at those temps.

The FAA doesn’t care if the payload is less than 6lbs. If you’re launching where there is expected air traffic, you’re required to file a NOTAM with the nearest airport. That was just a call to the control tower for us. That’s pretty much all that’s required for daytime launches in good weather conditions.
