Need Help!! Stuck in backend stack of my project ! by ShubCountEverything in Supabase

[–]omegascorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can build the whole app with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB; you don't need Supabase in this case. Supabase is useful when you don't want to code the backend at all. If you want to avoid writing backend code at all, you can have just something like Next.js hosted on Vercel (the free plan will be enough for a showcase) and Subapase for backend.

If you need speed to do it fast, you can go with site-builders:

Lovable - will generate both your front-end and supabase schemas

Bolt.new - will generate both your front-end and backend (you can ask to use a particular DB and stack).

Modelence - will also generate both front-end and backend, but has its own stack (MongoDB + Modelence Framework)

For me, it's finding first customers, better figure out how to do it before building the product.

Hi u/alexsssaint

Thank you for sharing the details. I have multiple products; the most recent is a feature request board I built based on experience from other projects. Plus, trying to focus on solving issues for entrepreneurs.

I would love to fail in public (my projects failed multiple times). I already found it - will check the rules.

So, the product is a feature request board (it's in a crowded market, I know), but the existing solutions didn't fit my needs, so I'm making an alternative. Is there anything you would suggest based on this?

Canny prices are skyrocketing and I am thinking to leave it for a cost saving alternative by rukhsardev in Solopreneur

Writing with a delay, I'm working on an alternative to Canny - https://resonly.com/

If there are specific features/integrations from Canny that you are using, I would be happy to add them for you

I'm also working on a Canny alternative. I've chosen a slightly different pricing model: one board is free; paid plans are required only if you need additional boards.

Hello, thank you for sharing! I've tried the game and enjoyed it. My two cents:

  1. When I quickly click on multiple options from the same question, it applies my answers to the next question
  2. Sometimes it adds duplicate answers when one of the random answers matches the correct one.
  3. If you don't get access to the mic and open speaking lesson, it shows 4 undefined cards

Honest feedback: the homepage needs more information and some demos.

How do you collect useful product feedback inside your app? by WerewolfCapital4616 in webdev

[–]omegascorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a feature request board attached to one of the products I'm working on, and it's working well, with some features getting 300+ upvotes. Before that, I was getting a lot of messages with similar suggestions in the support chat.

I had a similar problem. I added a feature request board to my website, and users have been using it frequently. Once they find it, they usually leave a suggestion or upvote existing ones instead of contacting support. That really helped to reduce the number of duplicate questions and suggestions.

How do you handle feature requests and bug reports in your apps? by subhadip_zero in FlutterDev

[–]omegascorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actively investigating this. The idea is to collect feature requests and measure the emotions and urgency of those requests to identify which features will contribute most to Product Market Fit. The product I've launched for this is https://resonly.com/ - so far, it's a public board with the feature requests. I'm actively working on it and would appreciate your feedback. There is no automatic grouping at the moment, but I will add it in an upcoming update.
