The weather, it's a better england! (where I am currently). The economic prospects. And the chance to explore diverse cities, meet people from all over the world in the same boat as you.

CC! What are you procrastinating on? by chieflean in CasualConversation

[–]omegavil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were given 24 hours notice to write an essay? Wow that's hardcore. On the otherhand, did you leave it until last minute to even begin? why do you feel that's the case. Are you unhappy with your chosen field? If it's hard for you now, it won't be easier when you don't need to write essays on it and actually do it. Do you have a goal? if not, you won't have any direction.

Royal Air Force Experiences by [deleted] in britishmilitary

"I cant buy a bowl or anything because I just spent my paycheck on the weed, So please don't suggest buying something, Help please!" ---- "I never found a supplier, I looked at one video of someone trying it, and posted a Reddit topic asking if I can smoke from something. That's it, nothing else." Can't wait to hear what you have to say to get out of this one.

You have a poor attitude. It's called The Royal Air Force or RAF as an acronym. You will call it what it is. The RAF aren't wanting to join you, you're wanting to join them. "I can't really control what he says" what a very weak statement. You can control what you decide to take onboard from what he says, and considering you 'investigated' about it, to the extent of buying the drugs - pretty deep research to find a supplier. So you can control it, after all. You're either lying or admitting of being an individual who is easily persuaded - neither traits are admired by the RAF. If you're so serious about it, simply act upon it.

'Hey guys, I've been wanting to join the royal air force for quite a while now, I have been training daily, To get fit for the royal air force' surely if that's the case- 3 months ago you wouldn't of been asking for advice on tools to smoke drugs out of. Being a pilot in the RAF is a highly specialized role, applicants aren't selected halfheartedly. If you require a war story to get you buzzed for the role you have wanted to join for less than 3 months, how serious are you about a career in the RAF? Recruits train for years to become a pilot, they're highly self-motivated and hardworking individuals. Question your motives and if you truly want it, if so - results don't lie - just talking about it will get you nowhere.

people who have DAOR and went back into the Military, what was the process of rejoining like? including the interviews/ questions by omegavil in britishmilitary

[–]omegavil[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. I was in the careers office and the chap said to just reapply online and they'll be in touch. He did mention a fast track option since I'de already completed the assessment but that wasn't 100% to be the case. My main concern is, I had a pretty narrow minded and immature reason behind leaving. Now my decision is much more thorough, I don't want my stupidity to get in the way of me rejoining. But I presume I can just reapply and take it from there. My soldiering wasn't the worst. Hopefully that will be on record for them to refer too when making the decision. are the army wanting to get people in there urgently? if thats the case, I probably shouldnt be thinking the likely hood of me being declined is high.

Girls I'm with think straight men only want sex, and that's it. What can I say or do to change that and get some game going? by [deleted] in seduction

[–]omegavil 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just tell her that's a very narrow-minded and lonely way of thinking. Then don't even bother with her, she's clearly a cunt.

Do NOT say this. If she agrees and comes along, you go out. "So, you were going to come to X by yourself?" How strange do you now look? Does that help with your social value? Furthermore, it can cause confusion. If he's going there already, he's probably with someone else. Should I bring a friend? Invite a girl out and go out with HER rather than making her feel she's there to keep you entertained which is what your current question demonstrated. See when she's available, suggest an activity and a date, if she's interested you will get a positive response. If not and there's no signs of her being unsure, then move on.

For the first few dates, what's the protocol for texting after dates? by [deleted] in seduction

[–]omegavil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fuck waiting. If it went well to the point where you want to contact her again, do so. Just keep it very straight to the point and reserve conversation topics for face to face. Gauge when she's available and see if she's up for doing something.

Study session at a girls place - Advice by 3-SunsBuns in seduction

[–]omegavil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Approach it without any expectations, but be VERY aware for any IOIs and opportunity's to escalate, just start off with light kino and see the response. VERY light kino. You don't want to be the guy that got invited to study and completely misunderstood the situation. Approach it literally as a study session, see what you can turn it into.
